Decrease the value .01 (when using above) or increase it .01 (when using below).

So, to find price above or equal to 50.00, set it to Above 49.99.

To find price below or equal to 50.00, set it to Below 50.01.

thnkbigr,

Equal "=" for real number representation is not used in any programs of which I am aware (which is not many).  It is used in integer arithmetic.  I do not know about 3.1, but, presently, in TeleChart:

C0 = x

where x is the closing value to two decimal places will rarely return True.

You need to adjust as suggested by StockGuy except that adjustment by 0.01 is too large and I just discovered that that 0.000001 is too small.  I have yet to see 0.00001 fail.

Thanks,
Jim Murphy

grouch,
The exact steps would depend on the Sell strategy you wish to implement, but in general, you would create a Sell Strategy by Dragging and Dropping your Condition into BackScanner and selecting Sell when prompted for the type of Rule or by selecting Add Trade-Based Rule.
