Hello,
I really don't appreciate that I can't speak to a "human being" anymore to get outstanding customer service, but I have a very easy question. I never do PCF's and was interested in the one featured in the above dated Worden Report. I went "back to" the Worden Report dated 11/07/03 as they said to and looked at the PCF, but I have no idea how to do PCF's. HELP>>>>>>>>>>

Thank you.... Jon Radliff

Please start by creating the following PCF (the first referenced topic below contains a video on how to create PCFs):

C / C250 > 1.9 AND C / MAXH252 >= .924 AND C >= 20 AND V >= 103

Ranks and fundamentals cannot be included in Personal Criteria Formulas, so you will need to combine the above with the following built in System Criteria in an EasyScan:

EPS Percent Change (Latest Q) - The percentage change in earnings per share from the comparable quarter a year before. Timely stocks will usually have strong recent quarterly earnings to validate the annual earnings strength. This reads in percentage.

Forget it..... Too much "geek speak" to me. I only have an MBA and don't see any "plain english" to what you've just done. All I want to know is to do it exactally how the guy did it. If he did a PCF the way he did it, why do you tell me that I can't us fundamentals and ranks in a PCF? Here we go.... Let's all get totally "misunderstood" using our computers instead of being able to call a human being to get the help we need. Really sad!!!!!!

I'm sorry you're frustrated, but the reference actually starts by indicating it is an EasyScan:

"I create the following easy scan, which I have labeled DARVAS:

PCF:

Close today/close 250 days ago > 1.9

Price as % of 52 wk high >= 92.4%

Price per share >= 20

Volume 1 day-- 103 to max

EPS % change last quarter, rank of 70 or higher"

The PCF reference just seems to be indicating that the EasyScan contains a Personal Criteria Formula.
