Hi, I am a newbie. I searched for fry pan bottom or dumpling top -pcfs and did not find it any where. Where can I find formulas for these or What is the best way to find these. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

These are not "candlestick" patterns, they are just regular price patterns.
You can find all the candlestick patterns here: Boolean PCFs for Candlestick Patterns
Over what time period do you want the Fry Pan or Dumpling to form (in days)?

Hi Craig, Thank you for the response and the link! I am thinking 7-10 days for fry pan bottom and breakout. for pcf, i am thinking (gapupToday + 7-10days of consolidation). I will try to search for consolidation formulas. Thank you,

Try creating the following PCF:
Trend/Consolidate 7days - no today
100*(MAXH7.1-MINL7.1)/(AVGH7.1-AVGL7.1)
Once you create and calcualte this PCF try creating the following EasyScans
EasyScan #1 Gapped Up Today after poor 26-wk
WatchList (ALL STOCKS) Price Per Share (limit based on your trading) Volume 90-day (limit based on your trading) Price Percent Change 26-weeks (LIST RANK MIN to 25) Gappers (Gap Up)
Save your EasyScan and SORT the resulting WatchList by "Trend/Consolidate 7days - no today" in ASCENDING ORDER. This should bring your best candidates to the top.
EasyScan #2 Gapped Down Today after good 26-wk
WatchList (ALL STOCKS) Price Per Share (limit based on your trading) Volume 90-day (limit based on your trading) Price Percent Change 26-weeks (LIST RANK 75 to MAX) Gappers (Gap Down)
Save your EasyScan and SORT the resulting WatchList by "Trend/Consolidate 7days - no today" in ASCENDING ORDER. This should bring your best candidates to the top.
